Shaun graduated with an Honours Degree in Economics from York University and a Master's of Science in Education from Niagara University.  He has been a high school teacher for 15 years after working in the mortgage and commercial insurance industries.  He actively participates in activities to further his profession as a teacher, including learning to improve his teaching of students who are new to Canada.  Shaun lives an active lifestyle, including playing hockey, hiking and lifting weights.  He believes that all students can achieve anything they put their minds to with the right amount of effort and support.
