Mrs. Seravalle’s career as an educator spans thirty-five plus years - as a Family Studies teacher, Department Head of Student Services and as a School Administrator. She enjoyed being a Secondary School Administrator for over ten years at three different high schools. One of her career highlights was opening a new high school and undertaking all that comes with hiring a teaching staff and coordinating the arrival of 1500 students. During her career, Mrs. Seravalle worked abroad, including China, and travelled extensively with students throughout Europe and the United States.
After retiring she joined TIOS where she has embraced the opportunity to work with international students, assisting them as learners and to enhance their Canadian cultural experiences. Mrs. Seravalle strives to create memorable, educational experiences for all students and their families by encouraging academic excellence and collaborating closely with staff to foster a community of learners.
When she is not working, Mrs. Seravalle enjoys spending time with her close-knit family, which includes her husband, three adult sons and their families, travelling, skiing, cottaging and enjoying the cultural experiences of living in Toronto, Canada’s largest city.
